For Bianca and Marts wedding I got the honor to make their invites. This was a really fun project because the location where they were getting married is also where they met each other, and I really wanted to highlight that. On the beach near Wijk aan zee, are two beach clubs, Aloha and Timboektoe, where the diner and party would be. Since this place kind of feels like the edge of the earth, I wanted to include an illustrated map on the card. This is a fun addition for a blank page and good for the people who are not from around here, to see where they should park and where they must go. For the front they really wanted it simple and elegant, just plants and leaves, the names and the date. On the back I made an illustration of the lighthouse, that where Mart popped the question so I thought It would be nice to have a reminder of that.
