Bio
Ilse Schrama (b. 1997) is a graphic designer and illustrator living in Wijk aan zee, the Netherlands. Living near the beach and surrounded by nature, she spends most her time outside, where her biggest inspiration comes from. Her work tends to draw from her memories, surroundings, and imagination. This inspiration she translates into poetic visuals, with vibrant colors and organic features that tell you a story. She loves to play with letters and likes to add a graffiti feel to her artworks, with grainy textures.

Ilse loves to work with risoprint, screenprint or linoprint. Overall the look that analog print can add to an design. On a daily basis when she works on a project she always work analog first, and sketch out the ideas and then add some extra details digitally.

Ilse also like to work with ceramics and textiles like knit, crochet, sewing and printing on cotton.
