Imagination Flight

Amidst the dust of collapsed buildings and the hum of drones, voices can be heard telling stories. Children in Gaza create worlds from what remains — a stick becomes a magic wand, a stone becomes a spaceship. Fantasy is their refuge, a place where rockets do not reach and where parents always return home safely.

But beneath that imagination lies a deep vulnerability. Their dreams grow in a ground that trembles with fear. Sleepless nights, empty schools, lost friends. They carry grief greater than their years, while their childlike hearts try to keep playing, laughing, and hoping.

They are brave, not because they choose courage, but because they have no choice. For even in war, children remain children — with small hands that draw big worlds, even when the real world breaks them.
